Size of the Island

The Island is 27 km long and 14 km wide. The perimeter is 78 km (48 miles), and the shoreline is 134 km (83 miles).  There are 650 km (410 miles) of quintessential country roads.

Long Harbour to the Mainland (1.5hr crossing), Fulford (35min.) and Vesuvius (20min) to Vancouver Island.
